Taxonomy
Epitonium (Papyriscala) lyui was named by Yu et al. (2018). Its type specimen is NIGP168833, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
It was recombined as Pseudopomatias lyui by Neubauer et al. (2019).
