Taxonomy
Vertigo antipygmaea was named by Harzhauser and Neubauer (2018). Its type specimen is NHMW 2017/0092/0051, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nowa Wieś Królewska, Opole (NHMW collection), which is in a MN 6 fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic in Poland.
