Taxonomy
Urticicola perchtae was named by Salvador (2013). Its type specimen is BSPG 1959 II 17312, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sandelzhausen, Layer D1, which is in a MN 5 lacustrine marl in the Ober Süßwassermolasse Formation of Germany.
