It was recombined as Cyrtia cyrtiniformis by Hall and Clarke (1893); it was recombined as Platyrachella cyrtinaformis by Fenton and Fenton (1924); it was recombined as Tenticospirifer cyrtiniformis by McAllister (1974); it was recombined as Conispirifer cyrtinaformis by Ma and Day (2000).
