Aphaurosuchus kaiju
Taxonomy
Aphaurosuchus kaiju was named by Martins et al. (2024). Its type specimen is LPRP/USP 0624, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 9.6 km south of Jales, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in Brazil.
