Gilsonicaris rhenanus
Taxonomy
Gilsonicaris rhenanus was named by van Straelen (1943). Its type specimen is IRSNB a11647 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bundenbach, Hunsrück, which is in an Emsian marine slate in the Hunsruck Slate Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Gilsonicaris.
