Calycoceras (Eucalycoceras) jeanneti was named by Collignon (1937). Its type specimen is Collignon 1939 pl. 6, fig. 1 and is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Eucalycoceras jeanneti by Kennedy and Bilotte (2014) and Gale et al. (2019).
