Djanaliparkinsonia egori was named by Mitta (2023). Its type specimen is PIN 5546/366, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kyafar River, locality 5, bed 2, which is in a Garantiana marine shale in the Djangura Formation of the Russian Federation.
