Halisaurus hebae
Taxonomy
Halisaurus hebae was named by Shaker et al. (2023). Its type specimen is NVP030, a partial skeleton (Partial disarticulated skull, teeth, mandible, presacral vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North Gebel Gifata, which is in a Maastrichtian marine mudstone in the Dakhla Shale Formation of Egypt.
