Taxonomy
Laschmaspira lirata was named by Nützel and Karapunar (2023). Its type specimen is NHMW 2023/0080/0001, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Feuerkogel, south slope, near Röthelstein und Tellschen, which is in a Carnian carbonate limestone in the Hallstatt Limestone Formation of Austria.
