Odontobutis hayashitokuei
Taxonomy
Odontobutis hayashitokuei was named by Yabumoto and Zhang (2023) [ZooBank lsid: urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:BD49BA9F- 53BC-4565-BED2-536C09770A04]. Its type specimen is KMNH VP 100,338, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chojabaru-zaki, Iki Island, which is in a Langhian lacustrine - small diatomite in the Chojabaru Formation of Japan.
