Taxonomy
Pseudomalaxis parisoti was named by Furon (1948). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Togblékové, bed 6, which is in a Thanetian carbonate limestone in Togo.

It was recombined as Pseudomalaxis (Nigerialaxis) parisoti by Adegoke (1977).
