Pygopistes parrasae
Taxonomy
Pygopistes parrasae was named by Parma and Casadío (2005). Its type specimen is PMOZ4087, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is General Roca, which is in a Danian deep subtidal ramp marl in the Roca Formation of Argentina.
