Taxonomy
Lingula leiskowiensis was named by Barrande (1879) [Lingula Leiskowiensis]. Its type specimen is L 25420, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lejskov (= Leiskov) near Malkov, which is in a Berounian carbonate limestone in the Králuv Dvur Formation of Czechia. It is the type species of Rafanoglossella.
It was recombined as Rafanoglossella leiskowiensis by Havlicek (1998).
