Meniscoessus major

Osteichthyes - Multituberculata - Cimolomyidae

Taxonomy
Cimolomys major was named by Russell (1936) [also said to be 1937]. Its type locality is 6.4 km below mouth of Berry Creek, which is in a Judithian terrestrial horizon in the Oldman Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Meniscoessus major by Sahni (1972), Clemens and Kielan-Jaworowska (1979), Fox (1980), Montellano (1992), Hunter (1997), Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004).
