Yechilacerta yingliangia
Taxonomy
Yechilacerta yingliangia was named by Xing et al. (2023) [Holotype YLSNHM01796 represents an almost complete skull, missing only a small part of the rostrum (Xing et al., 2023)]. Its type specimen is YLSNHM01796, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huadong Cheng Construction Site, which is in a Maastrichtian alluvial fan horizon in the Hekou Formation of China. It is the type species of Yechilacerta.
