Ovidiella plana
Taxonomy
Ovidiella plana was named by Nikitin and Popov (1984). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is River Chagan near Bestamak and opposite mouth of river Sargaldak, which is in a Llandeilo carbonate limestone in the Bestamak Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Ovidiella.
