Cardicarnia barrandei
Taxonomy
Cardicarnia barrandei was named by Kříž (1999) [= 1929 Slava decurtata Barrande - Heritsch, p. 44, pi. 3, figs. 286-291]. Its type specimen is Geologische Bundesanstalt no. 1998/2/333 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mt. Cellon Section Bed 12b, which is in a Sheinwoodian marine horizon in the Kok Formation of Austria.
