Taxonomy
Haplograptus wisconsinensis was named by Ruedemann (1933). Its type specimen is MPM 19444 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Richland County, which is in a Trempealeauan marine siltstone/dolomite in the St. Lawrence Formation of Wisconsin.
