Taxonomy
Hyattechinus anglicus was named by Thompson and Ewin (2018). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NHMUK PI E 12262. Its type locality is Top Orchard Quarry, which is in a Famennian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in the Pilton Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
