Taxonomy
Thecidellina persica was named by Bitner et al. (2023). Its type specimen is UIGM2004, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ramsheh (Lower Red Formation), which is in a Rupelian carbonate limestone in the Lower Red Formation of Iran.
