Taxonomy
Spirifer incertus was named by Hall (1858). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shanxiuling section, bed 9, Kaishantun, Yanji County, which is in an Asselian marine sandstone in the Shanxiuling Formation of China.
It was recombined as Tegulocrea incerta by Godefroid et al. (2002).
