Elkanoceras pluto
Taxonomy
Lituites pluto was named by Billings (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Point Riche, Zone L, which is in a Darriwilian shallow subtidal limestone in the Table Point Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Elkanoceras.
It was recombined as Elkanoceras pluto by Flower (1971).
