Taxonomy
Afromaenioceras brumale was named by Bockwinkel and Korn (2024). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.31960, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Oufrane-E, bed 12, which is in a Givetian marine horizon in Morocco.
