Tongoboryceras kawashitai
Taxonomy
Lewesiceras kawashitai was named by Matsumoto (1979). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 2 km downsteam from the Kami-Ashibetsu dam on the floor of the River Ashibetsu, which is in a Coniacian marine limestone in Japan.
It was recombined as Tongoboryceras kawashitai by Matsumoto (1990).
