Sphaeroceras vcostatum
Taxonomy
Sphaeroceras vcostatum was named by Burckhardt (1927) [Originally "v-costatum"]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Arroyo El Rincon, El Cuahulote - Tecojcoyunca Rd, which is in a Bathonian/Callovian marine horizon in the Yucunuti Formation of Mexico.
It was recombined as Bullatimorphites (Kheraiceras) vcostatum by Riccardi et al. (1989).
