Taxonomy
Micromphalites saintoursi was named by Collignon (1958). It is not extant. Its type locality is Andranomantsy I, which is in a Bathonian marine marl in Madagascar.

It was synonymized subjectively with Micromphalites (Clydomphalites) clydocromphalus by Jain (2014).
