Taxonomy
Inoceramus nahwisi goodrichensis was named by McLearn (1945) [Inoceramus nahwisi var. goodrichensis n.var.]. Its type specimen is GSC 6344 and is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Posidonomya nahwisi goodrichensis by Jelezky (1964); it was recombined as Posidonomya goodrichensis by Jelezky (1970); it was recombined as Posidonioceramus goodrichensis by Walaszczyk and Cobban (2016).
