Taxonomy
Spinatrypina (Spinatrypina) fontis was named by Godefroid and Mottequin (2005). Its type specimen is IRScNB a12039 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Marenne quarry, north of the village of Marenne. Unit 4, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Trois-Fontaines Formation of Belgium.
