Benggwigwishingasuchus eremicarminis
Taxonomy
Benggwigwishingasuchus eremicarminis was named by Smith et al. (2024). Its type specimen is LACM-DI 158616, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACM locality 8057, north slope of Favret Canyon, which is in an Anisian coastal mudstone/shale in the Favret Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Benggwigwishingasuchus.
