Taxonomy
Webbyites felix was named by Muir and Gutiérrez-Marco (2023). Its type specimen is AA.TER.OI 32a-b and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Z-F6, Oued Ouaoufraout, near Zagora, which is in a Tremadocian offshore shale in the Fezouata Formation of Morocco.
