Taxonomy
Biernatia rhapsody was named by Lavié et al. (2019). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 27393, a valve (Dorsal valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Las Chacritas River Section, which is in a Darriwilian marine limestone in the Las Chacritas Formation of Argentina.
