Actinocrinites tripus was named by Ehlers and Kesling (1963). It is not extant.
It was recombined as Thinocrinus tripus by Rhenberg et al. (2015); it was synonymized subjectively with Thinocrinus gibsoni by Rhenberg et al. (2016).
