Ganodermites libycus

Taxonomy
Ganodermites libycus was named by Fleischmann et al. (2007). Its type specimen is BSPG 1997 I 80 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jebel Zelten ATH7A, which is in a Burdigalian deltaic sandstone in the Marádah Formation of Libya. It is the type species of Ganodermites.
