Taxonomy
Canadoceras kossmati was named by Matsumoto (1954). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UMUT MM7650 (= GT. I - 381). Its type locality is Chupitausyuunay River, Nakatombetsu, which is in a Maastrichtian marine horizon in Japan.
