Mammites mohovanensis was named by Böse (1920). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Vascoceras mohovanensis by Böse (1920); it was corrected as Mammites mohavanensis by Böse (1923); it was recombined as Paramammites mohovanensis by Chancellor (1982).
