Taxonomy
Eurydesma hobartense rotundata was named by Reed (1936). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pidh, two furlongs SSW on road to Pind Dadan Khan, which is in an Asselian marine conglomerate in the Talchir Formation of Pakistan.
It was corrected as Eurydesma hobartense rotundatum by Waterhouse and Ranga Rao (1989).
