Taxonomy
Tabellina armstrongi was named by Waterhouse (1998). Its type specimen is GSQ F12287, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L4643, Bowen River, Exmoor Homestead, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine sandstone in the Blenheim Formation of Australia.
