Bolcaoctopus pesciaraensis

Taxonomy
Bolcaoctopus pesciaraensis was named by Mironenko et al. (2024). Its type specimen is MGP-PD 31434 / MFB IG23682 and is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Pesciara di Bolca, Monte Bolca (Padova MGP-PD collection), which is in a Ypresian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Pesciara Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Bolcaoctopus.
