Pycnocrinus mohonkensis
Taxonomy
Pycnocrinus mohonkensis was named by Brower et al. (2024). Its type specimen is AMNH FI 162955, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shale Bank quarry, Mohonk Mountain House, which is in a Katian offshore sandstone in the Martinsburg Formation of New York.
