Xiushanosteus mirabilis
Taxonomy
Xiushanosteus mirabilis was named by Zhu et al. (2022). Its type specimen is IVPP V300001, a skeleton (part and counterpart of a complete fish), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chongqing lagerstatte near Lianghe village, Yongdong Township, which is in a Telychian marine horizon in the Huixingshao Formation of China. It is the type species of Xiushanosteus.
