Dickinsonia menneri
Taxonomy
Vendomia menneri was named by Keller and Fedonkin (1977). Its type specimen is GIN 4464/57 now PIN 3992/57 and is an impression. Its type locality is Right bank of the Syuzma River, 5 km upstream from the mouth, which is in an Ediacaran marine sandstone in the Verkhovka Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Vendomia.
It was recombined as Dickinsonia menneri by Ivantsov (2007).
