Neobythites pamunkeyensis
Taxonomy
Neobythites pamunkeyensis was named by Lin et al. (2024). Its type specimen is IRSNB P 10744, an otolith (sagitta), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pamunkey River, which is in a Ypresian offshore sandstone in the Nanjemoy Formation of Virginia.
