T. Märss 2006Squamation of thelodont type; contiguous scales longitudinally strongly stretched, the width : length ratio up to 1 : 11. Ultrasculpture of transverse lamellae, which cross between the ridges and bend backwards towards the crests of the ridges, giving the surface a rippled appearance. Pulp canal present; upper crown with vertical dentine tubules up to 1/3 of the total scale thickness.
