Thilastikosuchus scutorectangularis

Taxonomy
Thilastikosuchus scutorectangularis was named by Carvalho et al. (2025). Its type specimen is FUP-Pv 000019, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Campo Azul (lacustrine beds), which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine sandstone in the Quiricó Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Thilastikosuchus.
