It was recombined as Globorotalia cerroazulensis frontosa by Toumarkine and Bolli (1970); it was recombined as Turborotalia cerroazulensis frontosa by Toumarkine and Luterbacher (1985); it was recombined as Turborotalia frontosa by Poore and Bybell (1988).
