  • Buccinum unicum was named by Pilsbry (1905).

    It was recombined as Chrysodomus (Ancistrolepis) unicus by Dall (1907); it was synonymized subjectively with Neptunea (Sulcosipho) magna by Grant and IV and Gale (1931).
