Calliomphalus (Planolateralus) argenteus

Taxonomy
Calliomphalus argenteus was named by Wade (1926). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dave Weeks place, Coon Creek, which is in a Campanian coastal sandstone in the Ripley Formation of Tennessee. It is the type species of Planolateralus.

It was recombined as Calliomphalus (Planolateralus) argenteus by Sohl (1960).
