Taxonomy
Trinacria willipaensis was named by Clark (1925). Its type specimen is LSJU 16 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SU Loc. N.P.253, Willapa River N of Holcomb, which is in a Priabonian/Rupelian deep-water siltstone/mudstone in the Lincoln Creek Formation of Washington.
