Tewkensuchus salamanquensis
Taxonomy
Tewkensuchus salamanquensis was named by Bravo et al. (2025). Its type specimen is MPEF-PV 3700, a partial skeleton (fragmentray cranial remains, vertebrae, phalanges), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Punta Peligro (MPEF Tewkensuchus type), which is in a Danian mire/swamp siltstone in the Salamanca Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Tewkensuchus.
